Scott and his team are outstanding!Have had seasonal service from them in the past and they have always been extremely polite, professional with great attention to detail. Today was an emergency call. I awoke to my low pressure boiler leaking water all over my basement floor. I called Montgomery and got Scott (owner) right away. I explained the situation and Scott asked me to send a picture of the leak. We both thought it was a flange gasket on a coupler. Scott explained all of his team were out on other calls but said he get one of his guys to swing bye. About an hour later Scott reached out saying all his guys were extremely busy but he was going to come over and take a look himself. After assessing the situation we discovered that problem was not what we both thought it was. It turned out that the expansion tank above had a small hole which was leaking down. Scott promptly ran back to his shop and returned with a new one. Was installed promptly and had me back up and running within 4 hours of me discovering the issue at a extremely reasonable cost.Amazing service from a great owner and team!

You can tell a lot about a company when you see their vehicles driving on the road. Respect for the general public and those around you is simple. New Year’s Eve my furnace was acting up. The owner Scott called immediately to arrange a service call. The next day first thing he personally came to the house. My furnace being 25 years old I decided to get a new unit. They installed it that same day. The workers are very professional and the customer service and communication spectacular. Early Friday morning we woke up to no heat and water all over our basement floor and downstairs bedroom from a busted pipe. Not knowing what to do, or who to call, Alecia strongly suggested I call Scott Montgomery Gas. She stated “Pete called Scott for an air conditioning unit installation and was impressed at how professional they were”. Scott Montgomery was recommended to Pete thru a friend.At 7:30 I called Montgomery Gas, and by 8 Scott was here. I needed a new boiler system, as the pipe that broke was above the unit and water had damaged the inside.Scott ordered a new boiler system, which he picked up Saturday. He built it Sunday at home, and was here with his team at 8 Monday morning to install.Scott also took the time to check my cast iron radiators upstairs.It was a pleasure to have Scott Montgomery and his team at our home installing our new boiler system. Scotts crew did an install for me 9 years ago, they did a great job and left the house as clean as they found it. Twice since then I've had small issues with it, nothing they did, just usual maintenence. Instead of coming out for a simple issue and charging me a service fee, Scott has walked me through how to figure it out myself over the phone, and never charged me a dime for it. I've got nothing but good to say about these guys

Just after midnight on January 18, 2024 I woke up to a broken furnace and now contemplating having to buy a new furnace. I texted Mr Montgomery asking whether he’d be able to take a look in the morning. By 6:00 am I got a response back saying I will be there in the morning and he was. You cannot ask for a better service than that. He was so concerned that It would be too uncomfortable for me and he even got my fire place working so that I would have some heat until he could return to install a new furnace. In short, our furnace of 20 years finally crapped out mid winter. Yes mild we have two kids and I want to keep everybody warm one call and I dealt with Scott. my furnace stopped working on a cold January day and I called Mr Montgomery and he came as scheduled and fixed the furnace within 15 minutes, this was a furnace I was previously told needed to be replaced- and I will - just not today 🙂 thanks to Mr Montgomery. I worked for 1 year in a position alongside HVAC specialists and I have never seen such honesty, kindness and above all skill and professionalism. Our AC unit failed in the dead of the summer heat, and I called Scott first thing in the morning after the Civic long weekend. Scott was friendlly, courteous and willing to help. Within an hour of my phone call, Scott's son, Austin, was at our front door.A young man with a professional approach and mindset, the first thing he did was introduce himself by first name and extended his hand to greet me. This is how a positive reputation and brand is built!Austin went right to work and within 15 minutes, our AC unit was blowing cool air again. Austin proceeded to outline the repair he undertook, gave me a few tips on how I can help to extend the life of our unit and outlined a realistic maintenance schedule that was rooted in honesty and experience, not financial gain.I will be using Montgomery Gas Heating and Cooling for all things HVAC and will encourgae my community and circle of influence to do the same. A/C is required because of health reasons in my home, it didn’t work after Telus installed a thermostat incorrectly and Montgomery figured out the problem fast and fixed it just as fast. I called at 10:00 am and they sent a professional guy named Austin, he was here in 45 minutes! A/C is back on and all is good again.

2022 we added an addition for an office on property that required a whole new system. Scott and his team have been able to work around the other trades and accommodate us on delays due to weather. They always showed up on time, worked in a professional manner, left the job site clean and the finished product looks great! Called Thursday evening because I had no hot water. They showed up Friday morning and diagnosed the issue. Knowing that I really couldn't go without hot water for 3 days, because of a long weekend, they were here early Saturday morning, removed the old hot water tank and installed a new tankless system. Called them yesterday because our A/C had stopped dead and even the fan would not run. They showed up next day right at 8 a.m. and found/repaired the problem within 30 minutes. We recently had a new heat pump system installed and are very pleased with it.Scott's crew; Austin, Trevor and Ashton performed the installation. These guys all quite young, it is good to see guys that age going into a good trade.They worked VERY well as a team with a focus to do the best job possible. Called Montgomery heating and cooling to have 2 gas fireplaces installed, as well as a tankless water system. Our furnace decided to shut down 3 days before install, and one call to Scott and he was able to order a furnace to install the same day as the other work, Scott was professional and took pride in his business. Austin, Ashtyn and Trevor showed up to complete the large job. They completed the job with precision and professionalism, and I am beyond thrilled with the job! I am so happy with the service from Montgomery gas. Scott and Austin are truly old school professionals!!! They are honest, very knowledgeable and so service oriented.Austin always took the time to explain to me the cause and solution. I’ve used Montgomery gas service 3 times- twice to move gas lines and once to fix my central air.Extremely reasonable priced, they show up when they say they will and always respond to my initial service call immediately!!Thank you Scott and Austin you made finding “my hvac guy” such a positive experience!!

I can't say enough about these guys.... They installed both a new furnace and air conditioner. They were quick and efficient and it was clear that cleanliness and professionalism were a core value. They went out of their way to ensure my expectations were exceeded. When I did have an issue (of my own doing in retrospect), Scott and Austin were literally at my house in a matter of minutes and the problem identified and corrected in less than an hour. Scott is a very involved owner and goes out of his way to ensure his customers received world class service. Don't let Austin's youthful appearance fool you! Austin has already developed a level of experience that provides confidence in his workmanship and professionalism. I have recommended Scott and his team to immediate family and close friends.....their's is the first number I call when I or anyone is in need of repair; service or installation. Called on a Saturday expecting to get a machine but got the owner Scott. He was very polite and sent his son Austin over as soon as he was free. Austin was very professional and answered any questions we had, really knew what he was doing. The price was reasonable and was able to install new central air unit Monday afternoon. I would recommend Montgomery Gas Heating and cooling to anyone I know.

I would highly recommend this company. Our older air conditioner was not blowing cold air. I called and left a message. Within 15 minutes Scott called me back and said that he could come and take a look after he finished the job he was working on. 15 minutes later he was repairing our air conditioner. Friendly, quick and amazing service...after being referred to this company, I phoned and left a message. Was called back in under 15 minutes. Scott said that he was in the area and could drop by. Addressed the problem and had our A/C back up and running in 10 minutes. From first phone call to him leaving our driveway was around 35 minutes...very impressive and satisfied all around (and the bill was very reasonable as well :)Would highly recommend him.Thanks again Scott!!

Montgomery has is a father and son team.They are both super nice people, friendly and professional people.We had a new A/C unit interested, cleaned our furnace ducts, and serviced our furnace.They were honest and telling us what we needed and did not need.I highly recommend Montgomery gas.

I was not expecting them to roll out the "blue" carpet so to speak. They covered my stairs and my floors all the way to the basement! I highly recommend this company!

Scott and his team are outstanding!Have had... seasonal service from them in the past and they have always been extremely polite, professional with great attention to detail. Today was an emergency call. I awoke to my low pressure boiler leaking water all over my basement floor. I called Montgomery and got Scott (owner) right away. I explained the situation and Scott asked me to send a picture of the leak. We both thought it was a flange gasket on a coupler. Scott explained all of his team were out on other calls but said he get one of his guys to swing bye. About an hour later Scott reached out saying all his guys were extremely busy but he was going to come over and take a look himself. After assessing the situation we discovered that problem was not what we both thought it was. It turned out that the expansion tank above had a small hole which was leaking down. Scott promptly ran back to his shop and returned with a new one. Was installed promptly and had me back up and running within 4 hours of me discovering the issue at a extremely reasonable cost.Amazing service from a great owner and team!read more

Early Friday morning we woke up to no heat and... water all over our basement floor and downstairs bedroom from a busted pipe. Not knowing what to do, or who to call, Alecia strongly suggested I call Scott Montgomery Gas. She stated “Pete called Scott for an air conditioning unit installation and was impressed at how professional they were”. Scott Montgomery was recommended to Pete thru a friend.At 7:30 I called Montgomery Gas, and by 8 Scott was here. I needed a new boiler system, as the pipe that broke was above the unit and water had damaged the inside.Scott ordered a new boiler system, which he picked up Saturday. He built it Sunday at home, and was here with his team at 8 Monday morning to install.Scott also took the time to check my cast iron radiators upstairs.It was a pleasure to have Scott Montgomery and his team at our home installing our new boiler system. Scott and his team were very professional, courteous and come with a great product.There are different choices for boiler systems, and really Scott hit home about how the installation takes precedence over the product.Fortunately with Scott we got both!!Thank you again for a great job Scott!!Jim and Mary Cosbyread more
